The city of Casper, Wyoming, and Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, have partnered to outfit the Casper Events Center with Daktronics displays. The installation will include a large end wall display, ribbon displays along the seating fascia and shot clocks. Daktronics will design and manufacture the displays with installation planned for this summer.
"The upgrade to the Casper Events Center with the new scoreboards and displays has been a much anticipated project" said Building Manager Bud Dovala. "We are thrilled to be working with Daktronics on this important upgrade and look forward to the benefits it will bring to the building, community and event promoters for years to come."
The main end wall display will measure approximately 17.5 feet high by 29 feet wide and will feature 10 millimeter line spacing. The display's picture quality and wide angle visibility make any seat an ideal viewing location for fans. This display utilizes variable content zoning allowing operators to use the whole display for a single large video or divide the display into zones that are filled with any combination of live video, instant replays, scoring information, up-to-the –minute statistics, advertisements and animations.
